Straight after Christmas Holidays, no time for some rest, first 2009 event is on with the Tignes Airwaves 2009.
First comp with the freestyle ( pipe and big air ) this sunday and monday with a new format: Ryders cup like in golf :

The CoreUPT junior team was on holidays last week, the young guns has time to ski, under the eye of their coach and its camera. A big thank you to Valpark Val d'Isere for the nice early season park!

Winter Dew Tour is on
Today was the Slopestyle open qualifier: Ritch, Ju and gus at the start with 50 other skiers.
Bad weather, windy ( sometimes on your face, sometimes on your back so short or too long , very bad !!!!), very very very cold and so
a new name from Breckenridge to Breckenfridge !!!
Gus killed it, Ritch stomped a nice first run and took the wind on the second jump second run so crash but no pain.
Bit harder for Ju who also took wind and overshoot the second jump so crash but pain ( collarebone, ouch!!! )
We're still waiting for results

The CoreUPT.com team is in Breckenridge (CO) with the best skiers and snowboarders ever.

In fact, there're all training themselves to get the best run for the Winter Dew Tour, that will start for the first stop in Breck on monday.
So Colby, TJ, Ritch, Gus and Ju are working on their tricks to be ready for the comp, but that's, quit hard with a bad weather but that's the same for all of us...

As the Breckenridge park is closed (in building for the comp) Keystone welcome our team !!! Here are some pics :

The unstable weather didn't let us too much room, but we managed to have a few shots. Please note the "big mountain rider" look of Gus and Colby who got used to the steep french alps really quickly. We have to admit they had goo guides...

All the CoreUPT.com team is leaving for Grenoble for a city big air for the Jeux de Neiges 2008.
Dady Guerlain and Candide are here to support them.
We didn't win the contest by the judges but by the Crowdmeter we were the winners and that's the most important thing.
Little big up to Vincent, one of our newcomer , who for his first big contest was amazing!
Next stop : Breckenridge Colorado for trainings and shooting before the Winter Dew Tour

A good week for the CoreUPT.com team, some fun activities, good food from the south west of France (excellent!), incredible hosts (our VC's in fact), and lots of fun. Everything is in the video...



The whole team finally got in Tignes last friday, but the weather has not been so nice with us for shootings, but we managed to get a few nice things you'll see very soon.

And this week end there was the CoreUPT Jam Testing, 2 good days when people an fans have been able to test the skis, and it seems people enjoyed it, cf les tests. Don't forget the contest : a full day with the team to win (full package!!!).

Last day for the whole team in this nice country.
Again a special activity with a new thing never done for everybody: cave diving in one of the many caves you have around here.
A really really cold water and a lot of fun with a mud battle at the end.

Second day of this special week.
Program of this day: start at 8 AM for trail orienteering with the finish under the wonderful Rocamadour village.
Close to 2 hours running in a canyon, 6 spots to find, 4 teams of 3.
Guerlain team with candide and colby took the win, Adrien team in second.
Day is not finish, after lunch we leave for the Karting track for one more comp.
No surprise, Guerlain give us a nice demo of his driving skills.

Very long day this saturday in Stockholm that we can see under the snow for qualification and finals.
trainings begins very early at 8.30 AM and finals 19.00 PM ( snowboard world cup in between ).
Gus and Colby try to get their spot for the final.Ritchi is already pre qualified.
Hard day for Colby who didn't make it, Gus finish second of the qualification round with a sick switch double cork, good job dawg!!!!
6 hours waiting, We kill the time going in town walking.
The finals begins: 3 Jumps, 2 best .
No luck for CoreUPT : Rich hurt himself an the second jump: out of competition;
and Gus stomp a sick switch 720 but felt on his double, he finished 7 th.
